PERSONAL: Lived in New York City as a kid growing up before moving to Maryland when he was 10. Has two half sisters, Desiree and Melinda. Enjoys playing video games in his spare time, and would like to possibly help create and design video games when his playing career is over. In the summer of 2009, participated in an EA Sports summer internship, spending three days in Vancouver, Canada and one in California at EA Sports headquarters. Cites "Madden" as the video game at which he is best, but enjoys playing as himself in the NBA video games. Played football in high school where he was both a wide receiver and cornerback, but stopped playing because he was too tall. Lists "Independence Day" and "Saw" as his two favorite movies. Michael Jordan was his favorite basketball player growing up.
