    PERSONAL: Full name is Jarvis James Hayes. Born five minutes ahead of his twin brother, Jonas, who was his teammate at both Western Carolina and Georgia. Jonas, is currently an assistant coach at Belmont Abbey. Jarvis and his wife, Illia, have one son, Jarvis James Hayes II. While in Washington D.C., had a weekly radio segment on WTOP during the 2004-05 season in which he reviewed local area restaurants with Washingtonian Magazine Food Critic Tom Head. Participated in a Wizards Benefit Lunch which raised money for the Wizards Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund. Created the Jarvis Hayes Foundation which aides at risk children in Georgia. For the second straight year, the foundation will be giving away Thanksgiving dinners to 800 families in Atlanta. In the summer of 2009, ran the first annual Jarvis Hayes Basketball Skills Camp in Atlanta at the Pleasant Hill Community Center for 75 kids ages 8-16. Recently started a concierge business named Luxe with his wife. Lists his first job as working for the Washington Wizards. Lists Martin Luther King as the person he would most like to meet from the past or present.
